Book & Pay Securely

Once you're ready, select your final dates/times. If it's 'Instant Book', you can confirm and pay immediately. If it's 'Request to Book', the owner has typically 24 hours to approve. You'll enter your payment details through our secure system.

Get Access Details & Prepare

After your booking is confirmed, the owner will provide specific access instructions (gate codes, directions) via platform messaging. You'll also get the exact address. Review these details carefully before arrival.

Use the Space Respectfully

Arrive at the scheduled time. Use the space only for the purpose agreed upon and follow all the owner's rules. Keep the area tidy. If any issues arise during your rental, communicate with the owner promptly via the platform.

Check Out & Leave a Review

Ensure the lot is left in the condition you found it. Check out at the agreed time. Afterwards, you'll be prompted to leave a review about your experience – this helps future renters and recognizes good owners.

What kind of spaces can I find?
Primarily outdoor lots and land for needs like vehicle/equipment parking (contractors, fleet), RV/boat storage, event parking/space, food truck spots, temporary material storage, etc. Listings specify allowed uses.
How do I know if a lot is suitable?
Read the description, check features (size, surface, fencing, power), review photos, and read the owner's rules carefully. If unsure, message the owner before booking.
Can I filter by specific features?
Yes, our search filters allow you to narrow results based on key amenities and features listed by the owners, like 'fenced' or 'has power'.
What's the difference between booking types?
'Instant Book' listings can be confirmed and paid for immediately. 'Request to Book' means the owner must review and approve your request (usually within 24 hours) before confirmation and charging.
When am I charged?
For 'Instant Book', you are charged when you confirm. For 'Request to Book', you are only charged after the owner accepts your request.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept major credit and debit cards via our secure payment processor.
Is there a service fee?
Yes, a small renter service fee is added at checkout. This covers platform costs, secure transactions, and support. The total cost, including fees, is shown before confirmation.
What's the cancellation policy?
Each owner sets their own policy (Flexible, Moderate, Strict), which is clearly displayed on the listing page. Review it carefully. Refunds depend on the policy and how far in advance you cancel.
How do I get access details?
The exact address and access instructions (gate codes, etc.) are provided via secure platform message after your booking is confirmed.
What if the lot isn't as described?
Document issues with photos/videos immediately. Contact the owner via the platform to discuss. If unresolved, contact Lot Lease support within 24 hours of check-in.
Can I extend my booking?
Request a booking alteration through the platform. The owner needs to approve the extension, and additional charges will apply based on availability and pricing.
Is my property insured?
Lot Lease does not provide insurance for renter's property. You are responsible for insuring your own vehicles or equipment. Check your personal/business insurance policies.
What if I damage the property?
Inform the owner immediately via the platform. Document the damage. Work towards a resolution with the owner. Lot Lease support can help mediate if needed. You may be responsible for repair costs.
What if I have an issue during rental?
Contact the owner first via platform messaging for minor issues. For urgent problems or if the owner is unresponsive, contact Lot Lease support.
